I've been getting some queries with regards to the modification to allow the FT-818ND transmit on 60m.

While this has been done on my Yaesu FT-818ND I never documented or filmed the process as there is already plenty of information regarding this on the net. Basically you need to remove some 0Ω resisters or bridges from the back of the LCD PCB.

Disclaimer, Any modification should be done by a competent electronics technician. You could damage your radio, void your warranty or break laws. Do so at your own risk.

However, seeing as I'm being asked about it. The video I initially referred to while the FT-817ND the jumpers and the back of the display PCB are pretty much the same.

So if you want to perform this modification on your FT-818ND then this video I found on YouTube, should give you a good place to start.

Don't blame me if you damage your radio. However, I will happily charge you to fix it.

I'll add, if you don't know the difference between a 0Ω resistor and a capacitor, then don't touch it. Go pay someone to do it for you!
